hello everyone a buddy of mine has a 92 pickup 4 cyl with an outomatic, the transmission is no good we found another one with 60 k on it but its out of an 87 pickup. would it bolt right up and plug in with no problem. I don't know very much about outomatic trans thanks

They should be the same, but an easy way to make sure is to check the transmission code at the bottom of the VIN plate. It should be the same on both, and it should be A340F, which whould be in 4WD trucks and 4Runners with the 22RE 4 cyl engine.

Make sure you check the speedometer. 1992 has a electronic speedometer,not sure about 1987?  ? |
