I like to listen to heavy metal, industrial rock, and pop on my way to the trail to get me pumped up and wake me up (if it's an early morning run). I seem to drive better whenever I am all excited and pumped up about it. So my question is, what r some good off-road bands, groups, and singers that I could get for this reason? I already listen to alot of Eve6, Gravity Kills, AC/DC, Guns and Roses, AudioSlave, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Saliva. Can anyone else think of some good metal or rock groups that I could pick up for this?

I listen to some Avenged Sevenfold, Flogging Molly, Pantera, Megadeath, metal seems to get me going pretty good. Though i smashed into a dirt wall down in a wash doing 50 or so listening to Flogging Molly(little warning lol) When i feel like cruising on the highway its mostly classic rock, ZZ Top, Golden Earring(radar love!), George Thruoghgood, Led Zepplin, the old time sh*t. When the ladies get in, its some reggea, rap rock, some pop (not a big pop fan) just to get the Amp and Kickers going!

Man i normally don't even listen to music when I am just cruising down the highway. But listening to music and getting pumped for the daily or weekend trail run can sharpen your senses because it gets you excited and perform the best. I have no clue why but it helps me out anyway. I just will never listen to music on the trail. I have to be able to hear all of the little quirks, squeaks, squeals and the occasional bangs and booms. Otherwise it frustrates the hell outa me when I can't hear that stuff.

Right on dude, I don't generally like rap that much but I will listen to Pop quite a bit. I personally like the headbanger stuff like Metallica, Megadeth, Tool, System of a Down, AC/DC, Nickelback, Disturbed, Smashing Pumpkins, Eve6. There are a shit-ton of them that I like but whatever. Oh yeah, one I should mention if anybody has never heard of them is Gravity Kills. Find their CD and buy it is totally worth it. It took me years to finally find their CD but when I did and I bought it I was knocked dead by some of the stuff that they play. If you listen closely they even use some tools such as ratchets and Impact wrenches for instruments. It's way F'N awesome.
