the truck is a bit top heavy so it tends to roll on a regular basis, but it still gets about 6.5" of wheel travel, has rear steering, bent lower links for better clearence. it definately is not the best lookin rig out there but i could have fun with it even if it sucked. also letme know what you think of it and shoot a few ideas my way for future changes and ill post more pics as i take them

Looks sweet. One of my buddies built one a few years ago with 90 degrees of articulation. It has a old fj 40 body on it. He can climb his stairs using the rear steer. Its sweet. He has around $600 in it, maybe more.

Ok here's a some pics of my 4x4x4 called the Juggernaut. It has four wheel steering with scaled down military style solid axles, and a center transmission that runs on two 540 sized electric motors.
Up grades were a electronic speed controller, working off road/fog lights on roll bar, and working headlights. Had plan to up grade the suspension, but never got around to it. Also the dual antennas with pirate flag. At some point a I made a rebel flag for the other one.
Ok I had a little fun in photo shop with this one.

hey it may not be a crawler but all that matters is that you like it and can have a good time driving it. i may have my crawler which is a great thing to just throw in the truck and go down to rock harbor with and crawl the jetty's but some days i like to grab my rustler and go beat the hell out of it. my point is that you don't need a super expensive rig to have fun and the same thing applies to those of us who have just an un lifted yota with bigger tires or those who have an all out crawler. once again JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME ;D

also here are a few pics of my other car which i actually put some time into. its top speed is right around 70MPH it is only 2wd but who says that you need 4wd to go dune bashin' and to launch over anything with a jump in front of it. Mike i know that you wanted some video of my crawler but i have only a few short clip that im working on putting into a larger video which i willpost when ever i can

I noticed that you seem to prefer electric vs nitro. Any special reason? I have a starter nitro car (it's a piece of crap and breaks every damn time I run it) that is a lot of fun. Just curious about the electric side of it.

well mike there is not a special reason, more like the reasons why i prefer electric over nitro. but there are a few advantages that you have with electric Especially when you are using a brushless motor system which is what is in the aluminum car. some of which are the torque and acceleration differences in the electric setups you have superior torque (Most of the time) which usually leads to a faster acceleration. if you are using a setup like i have (mamba Max 5700kv brushless system) which costs about $210. you can set the throttle curve and the brake curve because the brakes are electronic rather that a servo driven brake wihich is what you would have in your nitro rig, all of the adjustment s are done from the speed control being hooked up to your computer everything in the programming is user friendly and is actually kinda amusing to mess with. another one of the reasons i like the electric is because of the low amount of noise that they make which means that my pissy neighbors don't complain when i run the damn things anyway i just like them better than nitro

anyway mike the only downside to the electric setups is the price of getting everything ready to run at peak performance. for example my setup (mamba max 5700kv system 210.00 ) lithium polymer battery 135.00, motor heat sink 10.00 lithium specific charger 125.00 so the final cost can be very expensive but it is definately worth it

Thanks! Always wondered. I'm not really that experienced, but interested. I may start looking into electric setups.
