down here in Auburn, 20 min west of syracuse. I've got the only reliable truck in town. All my wheelin friends have full-size chev.dodge's My truck is my daily so I am a little cautious of what I do. my dog(austrailian shepherd) has done more off-roading than most around here. no "good" legal trails in the area. lots of little play area's though. hoping to someday find somebody that has nothing else to do but organize a greater cny club, for everyone.... Love the "toy" yet have no hatred for others. (I've owned a little of everything) Still have a 87 ht sam w/5'' lift in need of a heart transplant sittin in the back driveway.... field truck baby...... hope to here from anyone....

Hello I live just south of auburn in Locke. No clubs around here that i know of.Just alot of state land with old logging trails to wheel on.Some of them are alot of fun.If you (94cnytoy) want to go wheeling some time email me and we can contact with each other.I am running a stock 94 pickup but it does better than most of the moddified riggs that i have owend. We will probablly have to wait for the snow to melt but that will give us alot of mud to play in.

Yes, I just PM'd you. Just need to do some little mods. Are there enough trails available for anyone to bother traveling? Do you have permission to run these trails? I'd hate to get shot at or fined for tresspassing. Yes, I do the occasional "no mans land" trail rides. But don't encourage it, sometimes you just need to see where a trail leads to.... There is a logging trail in Moravia(back way around long hill road) deep deep ruts. cool trail (1/4 mile max). anything though, now leads to some sh*t hole house who the owner parks crap in the road. The road is state property.(used to have seasonal signs) then became "impassable". We suprised them one day. We were very polite. They just had no idea how we can up that old road. The main rut(almost a river channel) was 6 feet deep through the middle of some area's. You had to straddle the hill and hope you didn't slide sideways. O'yeah, steep steep drop to the right the whole way. Plenty of trees to stop ya. or crush ya.... Let's talk.....

Shout out from N. Paltz, NY. Moved up from NYC 2 yrs ago, learned why u need a 4x4 my first winter. Wore out 95 Cherokee, got something built to last (03 taco sr5 trd). Need 411 re: finding LEGAL public offroad trails within a day's drive of cen. NY for family outings. NYS Parks/Recreation website beyond useless for finding trails we can DRIVE on. Used to go out on Breezy Pt., Queens, they only allowed 4x4's on the beach, u had to bring a fishing pole... good times, good times. WHERE CAN WE GO WHEELING/CAMPING UP HERE? from brooklyndave

Just picked up brand new Tacoma TRD offroad 2005. Went from dealer straight to tire dealer to replace the BFG Rugged Trails w/Nokian Vatiivas. Anyone interested in purchasing the brand new BFG tires?

Just picked up brand new 2005 Tacoma off road - went from the dealer to tire shop and replaced the BFG Goodrich with Nokian Vatiivas. These are BFG Rugged Trail 265/70R/16 with less than one mile on them. These are not the rims (only the tires) - I am asking $90 for each ($360 for the 4 of them)
These are brand new tires off my brand new TACO and have no miles on them
If interested call me at 315-264-9275 or email me at hkk1212@adelphia.net

Thanks for NOT reading the reply. Have a nice tire, I mean day.
By the way, there is a whole section on this site, specifically set up for selling things. I suggest you forward interested people to that thread fom here. (you'd have to create that thread under the "for sale" items. Stew
