please pray for my friend, even if you dont pray to God pray to whoever you worship... my friend got shot in the head and chest last night... his brain is swollen and tonight is going to be the hardest time for him b/c of the swelling if it goes down tonight hell probaly be ok but if not...... please pray for him he really needs it

i just got back form the hosptail... the bullet went into his left eye and out the back of his head, and another went into his chest and through his lung... the doctors are not going to take the bullets out of him. they said it would do more harm than good... tomorrow im going to go look for the other 7 rounds that were fired so they can get a match when they find the gun... he is going to lose his eye... the preassure on his brain is at 12 (20 is bad), that pretty good concidering what happened. when i saw him he was moving his legs and was trying to pull the tubes out of his throat... like i said befor please pray for him... i wsh ther was more that i could do for him... like kill the mother f#$kers that did this to him... he didnt deserve this he was the quiet one

heres what happened... i just got off the phone with my friend that was there... 2 black guys walked by my friend and said lets do this. they then walked up to my friend and stuck a gun (a 22) in his face, he had left his car running and thought they were robbing him for his car. he told them to take the car and they said that it wasnt about that. at that point my friend (who got shot) saw what was happening and pushed him out of the way and said this is not going to happen. he then knocked the gun away and punched one of the guys. he got pistol whipped a couple of times. and when he was trying to stand back up they shot him a point blank range. they shot 3 rounds and hit him twice. my two friends that were in the house and had no idea what was going on ran out of the house and started to chase the guys. they both fired 3 rounds at my friends and missed. one of the shooters was waitng around a corner and fired 3 round at my friend, he was no father than 10 feet away. ny buddy fell to the ground and the rounds went over his head. my friend who got shot was a quiet kid... i think he is a hero b/c he took two bullets for a friend... ive been beating my self up for not being there, i could have done something to help him either took one of those bullets so he wouldnt be so messed up or killed one of the guys. ive been telling him to carry a knife b/c you cant trust people nowadays... thank all of you for your support... you have no idea what your prayers mean to me and his family... ill keep you posted on his condition please continue to pray for him

oh my god.... ...how sad. its glad to hear hes alright. Im sure he'll be fine, no one that is good deserves this. I hope the shooters get prosecuted for life. Or at least let him shoot them back  where do you live by the way? |

Dude that is awesome he is moving around and active. Very good signs that he is doing well and recovering. I'll keep praying for him and his family. He really is a hero for standing up for the other guy. Try not to beat yourself up man there isn't anything you can do about what is already done. he just needs you to be there for him now. He will need good friends to help him recover.

Definately glad to hear that he's doing better. And as Snorkle and 4x said, it not good to beat yourself up over it and the revenge thing won't really help much in the long run. I know it can be hard not to think about that sort of thing when shit like this happens, but your friend needs you now more then ever as he recovers and sometimes it can be hard to really be there for him with those thoughts running through your head. Just be glad that he's still alive and let him know that you really care.
I've spread the word around to my family and friends and they're sending their thought and pray out for your friend, you, and both families.

his name is matt... hes going in for surgery on monday or tuesday... they are going to take out his left eye and fix his eye socket, thats a huge thing that hes ready for surgery this early... thank you for all your support and prayers im sure it helped him out, ive been praying for him every hour and more sometimes. the guys who did this are going to get away with it b/c there are not very many leads to go on so that sucks i can only hope that they gets theres some day again thanks for the prayers... ill let you guys know how hes doing when i see him next

man, i just saw this. i am so sorry for your friend. im glad to see that he his doing better. as already stated, dont beat yourself over this, there is nothing you can do about it now except give him your support. revenge isnt the answer, you will only get caught up in something bad, and it will only end up bitting you in the butt.
i will put your friend matt in my thoughts and prayers. i hope he ends upok.
are they by chance going to be able to give him another eye, like from a donor?

VERY GLAD TO HEAR SOMTHING POSITIVE :-*I personally know something about this I've been shot at on 2 different occasions I've been robbed pistol wipped stabbed and have had friends shot and killed IT'S NO WAY TO HAVE TO LIVE LIFE  after moving to the north and the big cities I learned about the bad things the hard way instead of seeing it on the news like most people. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your friends |
