does anyone know of a fender flare with about a 2" width off of the body for a 1992 4runner. i can't seem to find any and would like to cut down on the tire splatter that constantly makes my windows seem like i just got submerged in a pond.

Check Bushwacker, they have the largest line of fender flares. They may still have them for a 92.

Bushwacker is the most common one out there and what most companies sell. The only other one that I know of is Jungle Fender Flares

well, I just ordered some from jungle fender flares. The guy was pretty quick to reply and answered all of my questions. the flares come from Thailand so I'll let you all know how the shipping was when I receive them.

well, I was hoping to give an update by now. The flares got to Vancouver 5 days ago. And haven't budged since, according to the tracking number on the package. Customs is probably at the stupid Olympics instead of tending to my stuff.

well I got them on Friday and put them on this weekend. There were no issues with the shipping. On jungle fender flares website they say be prepared to paint them because the black paint often gets wrecked during shipping, but the only blemish on mine was a little scratch on one flare. No fasteners come with the set so be prepared to buy (or steal) something to attach them to your rig. I used some stainless screws going up into the wheelwell from below as you can see in the one pic. Be careful when drilling because they are fiberglass. I had a shitload of rust that had to be tended to before I mounted mine. Good thing they reach up far enough to hide all the rust. Anyways, overall they look good and just took a long day to install. If your wheelwells aren't rusted to shit like mine, you could probably get all 6 pieces installed in about 4 hours. Attachments:

here you can see how i mounted them. i also silicone all the areas that came into contact around the wheel-well. nothing at the top of the flares was needed. Attachments:

Ditto from above. there is a spot to connect the running board mudflap thingy, but I might end up just customizing my own mudflap one day Attachments:
